How to find us
O ne can visit the Morogiannis watermill by car. The watermill is located at the village of Kato Giannei in central Peloponneese, in Greece. Starting from Athens the distance is 200 km and one should follow the route Korinthos – Tripolis – Megalopolis – Leuktro – Giannei for approximately 2.5 hrs. The distance from Megalopolis is 20 km, the road is asphalt-paved and the route to follow is Megalopolis – Leuktro – Leontari – Giannei. Starting from Kalamata one could follow for 30 km the rural asphalt-paved scenic route Thouria – Poliani – Dyrrahio – Giannei or alternatively for 35 km the route through Leuktro or Paradisia. Starting from Sparta one should climb mount Taygetos and follow the route Logkanikos – Leontari – Giannei. Coming from Patras –Pyrgos throught Hlias one should follow the route Andritsena – Megalopolis – Leontari – Giannei.
